The RightsZone Home Page can be customised to show you the information that is most relevant to your organisation.  The Home Page will look the same for all users, so ensure you take account of all users needs before making changes.

1. Arranging Components

  • Navigate to the Home Page, and click on the Cog icon on the top right corner of the screen. Select ‘Edit Page’. The Lightning App Builder page is displayed.

  • The existing home page components are shown as they are laid out on the page. To remove a component click on it and then click the Bin icon to remove. To move a component use the arrows to drag it to a new location.

2. Adding New Components

  • To add a new component select a component from the pane on the left hand side and drag it into the position you want it on the page. Alternatively click on the ‘+’ beneath a selected component and then select the component you wish to add from the component pane. Note that the position you drag the component to will determine the width it gets on the page. You can also drag and drop components into an empty slot on the screen.

Not all available components are relevant to RightsZone.

  • Clicking on a component on the display area will reveal a pane on the right hand side, this allows you to customise what is shown for that component. In the example below we have added a List View component. The pane allows you to select which Object you want to take the list view from, and in the Filter column you can select the List View filter you want to apply. You can also determine how many rows of data you want to see, so that you can manage the amount of screen space used.

TOP TIPS

• Using filters so that the dashboard components display ‘My Records’ can help each user see the information that is most relevant to them.

• Dashboards are a really useful way of displaying information on the Home Page and give you a lot of flexibility. See Step by Step Guide to Creating Dashboards for more information.
